Health

In England - The NHS Performance Tables show headline indicators of the performance of NHS Trusts, including Ambulance Services, and of Health Authorities.

High Level Performance Indicators and Clinical indicators - The Government published the High Level Performance Indicators and the Clinical Indicators on 16 June. This site introduces these two indicator sets which underpin the Performance Assessment Framework.

First release of performance figures for Social Services - The Government today published baseline data for social services performance that makes up the Personal Social Services (PSS) Performance Assessment Framework (PAF). For the first time, local authorities will now be able to compare how well services are being provided across England.

In Wales - The tables show you how hospitals, health authorities and ambulance services perform and tell you about waiting times and cancelled operations.

NHS Wales Waiting Times Information Service for GPs and Patients - HMIS provide a quarterly Waiting Times Information Service to GP's and Patients in NHS Wales using data collected from Hospitals. Data covers outpatient, inpatient and daycase waits in weeks for a wide range of specialties and procedures.

In Scotland - 'The National Health Service in Scotland Annual Report 1998-99' includes a set of tables showing how Health Boards and NHS Trusts are performing in relation to the standards and commitments set out in the Patient’s Charter. More detailed local information can be found in the reports produced by and available from each Health Board and NHS Trust.
