Charter Mark

Self-Assessment

Charter Mark Self Assessment PackWe have produced a Charter Mark Self-Assessment Pack to help you improve service delivery, without having to apply for Charter Mark. The pack will provide:

practical hands-on help with key 
aspects of service delivery;
an assessment of areas where you 
perform well;
a checklist of areas that require improvement 
with tips on what to do;
access to best practice hints from across 
the public sector;
a baseline from which you can measure 
future progress;
assistance with preparing a service 
improvement plan and
an introduction to the Charter Mark 
Awards Scheme.

The pack contains seven documents:

Information about Charter Mark, self-assessment and how to use the pack.

 

A simple 'snapshot assessment of performance against the ten criteria.

 

Key Questions The criteria in detail, with focus questions, and possible evidence.


Self Assessment Survey A detailed assessment of your performance against the ten criteria.

 

Scoring Guidance Highlights the information you need to assess your levels of performance.
Advice Booklet Contains examples of good practice against each of the criteria and a list of useful publications.

 

Results Analysis

Evaluates overall performance and helps you draw up an improvement plan.
