If you think your organisation is providing an excellent public service, why not apply for a Charter Mark? This is the Government's award scheme, which encourages and rewards improvements in public services. Every applicant gets a free independent assessment and detailed feedback on how to improve. There are no losers.

All public sector organisations that deliver services direct to the public can apply. These could include local offices, individual teams, schools, hospitals, council services among others. To find out more about the Charter Mark, please phone 020 7 276 1756 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. For a free copy of the applicants' guide, please phone 0845 722 32 42 (local-rate call) between 8am and 8pm, seven days a week.
