The Modernising Government White Paper was ambitious in its scope. It is essential that we can keep track of progress - we need to know how far we are turning the vision into reality. There are four key ways we are doing this:

• Citizens First (Modernising Government Annual Report)
  This gives specific examples of what is being achieved on the ground across the country.
• Summary of Progress
  Click above to view an account of progress in relation to the White Paper's Executive Summary (to mid September 2000).
• Action Plan
  This document describes the individual targets set out following the White Paper.
• Milestone Progress Reports
  These documents give a regular progress update on the targets set in the action plan.
