Terms of Reference Responsibilities
Membership
To act
with the authority and responsibility to set the standards
for Government e-communications, as part of the UK online
strategy, in particular by:
- taking forward
the development of e-communications standards, both
technically and as a communication tool (for example
by ensuring customer focus, therefore resulting in
an effective two way communication);
- promoting the e-agenda
internally and externally by ensuring that there is
a greater awareness, understanding and take-up of
e-communications;
- taking decisions and
developing workplans to ensure that actions are implemented
throughout Government;
- ensuring that the entire
e-Champions group is fully consulted on significant
cross-Government issues;
