This page provides details of the departmental e-Ministers, the network of Government Ministers who provide the political direction for the Government's e-agenda.

Each government department has nominated a departmental e-Minister to provide political leadership within their area for the e-agenda. This commitment reinforces the government's drive to meet its ambitious goals.

The responsibilities of departmental e-Ministers include:

  • providing political leadership and day-to-day responsibility within their department for the e-agenda;
  • supporting the government's overall e-Minister in delivering and developing policy in this area;
  • working with colleague e-Ministers to facilitate joined-up approaches.

Details of departmental e-Ministers can be found here.
