to provide political leadership within their area for the
e-agenda. This commitment reinforces the government's drive
to meet its ambitious goals.
The responsibilities of departmental e-Ministers include:
- providing political leadership and day-to-day responsibility
within their department for the e-agenda;
- supporting the government's overall e-Minister in delivering
and developing policy in this area;
- working with colleague e-Ministers to facilitate joined-up
approaches.
