Bob Brace, Vice President, Mobile Solutions, Nokia

Bob heads up mobile solutions for Nokia's Internet division, Nokia Internet Communications. He has worked with Case Communications, on the preliminary set-up of the South African police WAN network, Xyplex and British Telecom.

Bob is now one of the key players responsible for Nokia's vision.

Bob joined Nokia in 1997, with its acquisition of Ipsilion; subsequently focussing on marketing Nokia's market leading IP network security and Virtual Private Network solutions globally.

Prior to joining Ipsilion, Bob worked to raise capital and co-founded Grid Technologies, which created and marketed LinkWare, a design tool for voice and data networks that selected the least cost carriers.

Bob started his career with US start up Xyplex where he held a number of senior marketing positions in Europe. There he worked through the transition from Terminal Server vendor to the world's fourth largest router vendor based on actual shipments.
