Deputy Prime Minister's speech at the 15th annual meeting of the
Congress for the New Urbanism

Before addressing an audience of planners, developers, urban designers,
architects and politicians at the 15th annual meeting of the Congress for
the New Urbanism in Philadelphia, the Deputy Prime Minister received an
award recognising his contribution to urban policy, planning and
regeneration in the last 10 years. His remarks covered a wide
range of issues including the contribution of sustainable cities to
tackling climate change.
